Another check on my list

I survived the long drive to Atlanta and back. My exam went well. You never know how well but I think I did a good job. I must say I was really taken back by how beautiful Georgia was. The big pines, the rolling hills, the friendly people. It was a breath of fresh air. A random lady had a 15 minute conversation with me at the gas station about my car and the vacation she was going on. People opened doors for me, said good morning. It was lovely. As far as the exam goes I thought First Aid prepared me extremely well. I stayed at the Country Inn and was able to literally walk 3 minutes to the testing center. They stored my luggage for me and provided for a place to change my clothes after the exam before I headed back out on the road. In three weeks I will make the trip north to Michigan for 4 weeks. Excited for the rotation and spending time with my friend and so sad to be away from my family for that long. I didn't like it for 2 days I have no idea how I'm going to do it for 4 weeks.

Time for sleep. Back to the clinic tomorrow.

Like you, I will be 30 years old and have had a successful career before starting medical school. I am worried because I will be leaving my 3 yr old daughter here in the States. Would you be willing to speak with me? If so, please email me at k82639@gmail.com.

I'm happy to email you. You can do this. Time goes by so fast and what a great example you will be for your daughter.
