| First day of second grade! |
Although I have been on vacation since I took the STEP back in June, I haven't had a minute alone. It's a small price to pay for having a family in medical school. Sure there are things I wish I could do during the day (like catch up on several seasons of True Blood) on my first summer vacation since high school but spending this time with my
little pickle has been irreplaceable. Well I did sort of get my wish. My clinical schedule starts one week after my daughter's school. So for the next 5 days it is mommy vacation week. From the hours of 8am to 2pm I am all alone. Today was so sweet... peaceful, quiet, and uninterrupted. It was
AMAZING! I must admit though a small part of me really really missed her about 30 minutes after I dropped her off at school.

How is she in second grade? I can't believe it. So in two years when Harper starts Kindergarten will you talk me through it? You WILL be back in Texas by then, right? Miss y'all like nutso.
