Week one of classes

With week one behind me and week two of classes looming nearby I am feeling good. So far the material has been a bit of a review, except in biochemistry which I did not do in undergrad. In biochemistry we are covering carbohydrates and glycolysis. In anatomy we are learning the facial muscles and blood supply structures. In microbiology we are learning all about DNA replication/translation. In physiology we covered my entire semester of cell biology class in 2 lectures. We haven't really had any lectures in histology and immunology yet. My first quiz is a week from this incoming Wednesday. It will be 40 questions and we will get to review it immediately after we take it. I'm looking forward to that so that I can see if I am on the right track with my study schedule.

Other than that everything is good. We are beginning to adjust. Gabby is listening more and having less attitude with every passing day. I guess that was her way of rebelling. It's been raining here a bit so we haven't been to the beach since last Sunday. Hopefully we will be able to go this week. We still don’t have our barrel but it is on the island. I will write more about that process soon.
