Our first beach day

We went to the beach on Thursday and spent the day. It literally takes about 7 minutes to walk to the beach. That is the Gabby pace. Brandon and I could probably make it there in less than 5 minutes but naturally we must stop and pick flowers and chase butterflies. We got to the beach at 10am and it was empty. We were the only people there. It was unbelievable. We walked down a ways trying to find the perfect spot for the day and decided to take advantage of the empty beach and set up right smack in the middle! We had a wonderful day of swimming, sun tanning and walking the beach. Finally, around 3pm some of the local families came out to join us. It was great. I am very pleased with our decision to live closer to the beach then campus and also with the decision to live further way from tourism. Enjoy some pictures from our first beach day.
